Join us for Wednesbury Day!

A family-friendly community festival that celebrates the town

Black Country Touring and Multistory are bringing family-friendly theatre performances, interactive street games, live music, face painting and other fun activities to Wednesbury town centre. The main celebration will take place on Saturday 17th June from 10:00 to 14:00, with activities also taking place on Saturday 10th June. Everything will be free and suitable for people of all ages.

Come along to our information point in Market Place from 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday 10 June and Saturday 17 June to collect a programme, or take a look by clicking on the button below.

Saturday 10th June

Join us for inclusive and accessible Street Games with live music and dance, bump into the hilarious Lollipop Ladies who will be causing havoc around the town centre, get your face painted by professional face painters, and enjoy a heartwarming storytelling show about a snowy quest to convince nay-sayers that yetis really do exist!

Activities will take place from 10am to 2pm in Market Place, Wednesbury. No booking required.

Saturday 17th June

The main event! Don’t miss this jam-packed day full of fun activities. Join the parade with Eko the giant sea monster puppet followed by a magical dance theatre performance, have a go at some arts and crafts, watch a beautiful rangoli being made, bump into the eternally curious giant pigeons and the hilarious Lollipop Ladies, enjoy the exciting and vibrant Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, get your face painted by professional face painters, check out the community exhibitions, and watch a lovely show about a postman who decides to bring a little sunshine into everyone’s lives.

Activities will take place from 10am to 2pm in Market Place and at venues across Wednesbury town centre. No booking required.
