What’s In Store Project Announcement!
We are excited to announce our upcoming project What’s In Store!
What’s In Store will bring two days of exciting live poetry, music and theatre performances to independent shops and cafes on Bearwood Road, Smethwick, on 17th and 18th June 2022.
Performances will include pop-up poetry from local artists Bohdan Piasecki, Rupinder Kaur and Dreadlockalien, and live music with Sam Frankie Fox, Ricardo Santos Rocha and Deci4Life. There will also be a Bearwood Road tour with Vimal Korpal, Is That A Yeti Heti? by Jack Trow, Coffee & Tea by Jake Oldershaw, and street performances by the Lollipop Ladies. A highlight of the weekend will be our new family show Where Are You? made in collaboration with Accra Theatre Workshop (Ghana) and presented by the Birmingham 2022 Festival.
All of the performances are free to attend and will take place multiple times across the two days. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, so be sure to come along and join us in celebrating Bearwood’s community and the independent businesses at the heart of it!
