And that’s a wrap!
The Autumn 2024 tour of ‘Wild’ is over - and what a brillant tour it’s been!
Created through conversations with local people across the Black Country, ‘Wild’ is our new theatre production celebrating what Wild means to us - in the natural world, in our cities and within ourselves. Featuring an ensemble cast, community choir, rich soundscapes and live music it invites the audience to reflect on their own definitions of Wild, fostering a deeper appreciation of both nature and human nature.
‘Wild’ toured in 8 community venues across the Black Country from 16th - 26th October 2024: Brierley Hill Civic; Wednesbury Library; Glasshouse Arts Centre, Stourbridge; Gatis Community Space, Wolverhampton; The Dorothy Parkes Centre, Smethwick; Bromwich Hall, West Bromwich; Central Library, West Bromwich; and Aaina Community Hub, Walsall.
Thank you to everyone who made the tour possible - the creative team, our amazing community choir, the participants who generously shared their ‘wild’ stories with us, our brilliant promoters and venues, and last but not least, our lovely audiences! A special thank you to Arts Council England, the players of People’s Postcode Lottery, Sandwell Council and Wolverhampton Council for their funding and support.

If you attended one of the performances, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! If you missed out, don’t worry - ‘Wild’ might just be back again with another tour soon…
