Postcode Culture Trust Funding

We're delighted to have received the support of the Postcode Culture Trust, who award funds from the People's Postcode Lottery.

Their mission is to inspire learning, understanding and appreciation of science, music, arts and culture and we were very grateful to be approached by them late last year with an offer of flexible funding for 12 months. As a relatively small arts organisation with a wide reach across the Black Country, a grant of this kind will help us become more adaptable and able to provide greater levels of support to our community promoters, venues and volunteers as they navigate increasingly challenging times.

It will enable us to bring culture to more neighbourhoods and ensure that the performing arts are accessible to people who are often excluded due to their background or socio-economic status. In particular, we will work to address the cost of living crisis in 2023, working with our Promoters to keep ticket prices low, reach deeper into deprived areas and trial new ways of generating income that mean the arts are available for everyone.
